For AMRES users
Any user that wants to connect to eduroam must have AMRES electronic identity supported by eID.amres. If you want to check if your institution is connected to eID.amres visit connected institutions.
You can connect to eduroam wireless hotspot using any device which has appropriate wireless 802.11b or 802.11g support (laptops, PDA, mobile phones, etc.) and possibility to install 802.1x enabled supplicant software.
Program recommended by eduroam community is securew2. AMRES end-users should use securew2 adaptation for AMRES which can be downloaded here.
